ON THE GALAŠNJAK, an islet in the Pašman Channel planetary known for its heart-shaped shape, has been inhabited by humans in the distant past, a little more than 7000 years ago, in the older phase of the younger Stone Age, the latest discovery by the research team of the Department of Archeology at the University of Zadar A few days ago, in an underwater area between the islets of Ričul and Galešnjak, at a depth of six meters, he discovered an ancient huge rectangular structure built of larger amorphous stone. Love Island – Galešnjak
The heart of the world is placed under the Pašman skirts. Just in the middle of the canal of the same name, right by the side of the low pearl, three islets called Bisage, we find a mystical and enchanting island. The island is this, if you look from the sea, which is not much different from its relatives. But if you decide to follow the path of a curious seagull, you will notice that its outlines change at once.

Benedictine monastery of St. Cosmas and Damian
This monastery complex is of particular importance for the cultural and historical heritage of the island of Pašman because it is directly connected with the Croatian medieval state, that is, with the ruler Peter Kresimir IV. It is located in the southern part of the island, on Ćokovac hill, 2 km northwest of Tkon.
Church of St. Cosmas and Damian was first mentioned around 1070 when Croatian King Petar Kresimir IV. granted the right to the church and surrounding subdivisions to the monastery of St. John the Evangelist in Biograd.
